Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 August 2026

Welcome to Engluz. We take the privacy of our young players very seriously. This policy explains how we handle information in our word and quiz games.

1. No personal data collection

We do not collect any personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers or physical locations. There are no accounts, and you can use everything without signing up. If you choose to type a display name into the app, it is only ever stored on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

2. Children's safety (COPPA)

Our app is built for children. We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not track users, and we do not use any third-party advertising networks or analytics that collect data from children.

3. Everything stays on your device

All of the following is saved locally and never leaves your device:

Pictures you add are read by the app, resized on your device and stored there. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Removing a picture, or clearing your browser or app data, deletes it permanently.

4. Photo and file access

When you add a picture or upload a word list, your device shows its own file or photo picker. The app only ever receives the single file you choose. It cannot browse your photos or files, and it does not ask for access to your camera roll, contacts, microphone or location.

5. Network use

The app ships with its built-in word list included, so it works with no internet connection. When you are online it may fetch an updated copy of that list from a published Google Sheet. That request sends no information about you beyond what any web request necessarily includes, and no personal data is transmitted.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at this address.

7. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or the app, please contact us at support@engluz.com.
